The Associate Demand Planner will interact with Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Supply associates to gain intelligence to improve quality of forecast for assigned channels, customers or products. Monitor forecast accuracy and bias and tune statistical
forecast models to improve overall forecast quality.
Prepare reports that enable team to monitor forecast accuracy and bias.
Accurately maintain master data that drive forecast models. Review and take action based on exception reports. Manage statistical forecast models. Tune to improve forecast accuracy and quality.
Create Excess and Push list for assigned products. Ensure appropriate sales associates are aware of excess product that needs sales attention.
Under supervision of Demand Planner, Senior Demand Planner or manager, Interact Weekly with Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Supply planning to gather information required to update and fine tune forecast for assigned Channels, Customers or products.
Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor that aids in overall demand planning process and overall development of the associate. Complete task assigned by other members of the demand planning team.
Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, Mathematics or related field. Above Average Analytical skills with working knowledge Microsoft Office products and proficiency in use of Excel.
