The purpose of this position is to arrange, manifest and check loads to ensure customers are getting the correct product, correct amounts, and on a timely basis
#1 Arrange loads by sequence and stops so customer orders can be delivered by customer appointment times.
#2 Manifest loads correctly by using the computer system to ensure accurate billings and accounting.
#3 Daily walk the cooler to count, monitor and correct SAP and CFS inventory. Complete necessary adjustments to SAP & CFS after counting ensure inventory accuracy in CFS and SAP. Perform snapshot when needed. #4 Report issues/discrepancies to management,
Sales and production.
#5 Answer telephones, take messages, and give information to customers, transportation, management, drivers etc. Keep office arranged and in a neat and orderly manner.
#6 Back-up to all Further II clerks. Complete any and all duties as needed.
#7 As directed by management maintain accurate inventory and ordering of CO2. May require physical count of CO2 in cooler and or on trailer. Ensure plant does not run out. E-mail inventory to appropriate personnel.
#8 As directed by management maintain accurate inventory and ordering of pallets (to include iGPS Pallets), empty brown totes & lids, office supplies, salt. E-mail inventory to appropriate personnel. Ensure plant does not run out. May require physical count
to verify accuracy of inventory before ordering.
#9 Ensure processing/receiving of return products, inbound transfers. Ensure product is brought in, scanned appropriately and listed on appropriate reports.
#10 Responsible for maintaining and distributing timely and accurate reports/e-mails for shipping (distress product, cash sale/condemn report, donation report, pallet inventory, CO2 inventory, return product, basket & tote inventory, SAP/CFS Inventory, IGPS
count report etc).
#11 Work in the cooler and outside of the office as well. Work in the cooler will include scanning boxes, counting various inventories, verifying box counts, etc. Outside the office area will include checking inventory in trailers to verify/check content
High school diploma or equivalent with analytical skills.
Internal Candidates must be in good standing to be considered for Promotion/ transfer: Have 2 or less occurrences, no active write ups, and have been in their current position for a minimum of 6 months.
Basic knowledge of SAP, CFS, computers and secretarial skills.
Work environment includes, but not limited to, a normal office environment, as well as, climate extremes found in a poultry processing operation. Requires ability to move throughout the complex. Exposure to all chemicals found in a poultry processing
operation. Must wear and/or use protective and safety equipment required for the job.
