The E-Commerce Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue, share growth, and sustainable profit in E-Commerce across Perdue Foods through Brand Building and Product & Packaging Initiatives. They will work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing Services,
R&D and other cross-functional partners to establish new business and grow penetration with consumers for our brands and products through existing DTC E-Commerce segments and customers. Primary focus is on Pure Play (Amazon, Peapod, Jet), Meal Kits (Blue Apron,
Hello Fresh, Home Chef), and DTC Protein (Butcher Box). Additionally, this role has the opportunity to envision and develop DTC E-Commerce via Perdue owned storefronts.
Develop E-Commerce marketing plan to grow sales and share of Perdue Brands with E-Commerce customers, including digital advertising, search, promotion, partnerships, influencers.
Develop and deploy world-class content to enrich Perdue Brand stories, inspiration and information.
Analyze performance of marketing activities and optimize for efficiency and effectiveness.
Partner with customers to deploy content and drive sales on their platforms.
Lead product and packaging projects that meet the needs of E-Commerce customers and shoppers, including conception, development, scale-up and commercialization.
Partner with operations, quality, R&D to ensure delivery of product and packaging specifications, and embrace continuous improvement towards “increasingly superior” vs. competition.
Conduct primary and secondary research to understand the E-Commerce consumer and discover insights towards business building initiatives.
Leverage technology and tools (e.g. Stackline, PriceSpider, IRI ePOS) to improve E-Commerce results.
Provide input and support towards development of Perdue own DTC E-Commerce storefronts.
Manage DTC E-Commerce marketing budget and other resources.
Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field plus 5-7 years related experience or in the absence of a Bachelors degree, total work experience would equal 10 years.
Preferred: Preferred concentration in E-Commerce and/or Marketing – with a digital focus. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
