Is to assist the department foreman in the daily operations coordinating the workforce and insuring a safe and productive work environment. Must follow rotation policy as required by management
#1 To perform all positions within the department as attained in the job description in order to relieve and train associates as necessary..
#2 To ensure all positions are performed according to daily production needs and standards.
#3 To coordinate and initiate the rotation schedule every two hours to meet OSHA safety requirements and ensure all Perdue safety policies are adhered to.
#4 Take active role in training new hires in order that they meet departmental job requirements and and are working as a team to meet departmental goals.
#5 Every hour make quality checks visually inspecting and log findings. Placing downgrade into tank.
#6 Set up department for daily operations and make hourly production checks as directed.
Must be able to read and write in English and have good interpersonal skills.
Qualifying Candidates must be in their current position for a minimum of
6 months, have no more than 2 occurrences, and have
no active disciplinary.
Must be able to work in environment of 50-60 F. with ambient humidity. Noise exposure of 93.9 db, product temperature of 35 to 40 F, grade a a rate up to 22 ppm. Exposure to chlorine 20 pm. Lifting up to 9 lb., must wear personal protective equipment.
