Position summary: Responsible for directing all Niman Ranch Brand sales functions within a specific geography – with a primary emphasis on specific retail and retail distribution accounts in the eastern half of the US, including managing
broker relationships, and working closely with the VP Sales to build sales and brand loyalty. Position responsibilities:
Develop, implement and execute a viable business sales plan to deliver a range of branded volume, margin, and profit objectives on fresh beef, pork, lamb, prepared, deli and charcuterie categories.
Manage, support and develop sales at specific existing retailers and retail distributors.
Generate expansion of new retail prospects and broker and distributor networks
Supervise Regional Sales Manager(s) and work with assigned sales support personnel (where applicable) to help grow business in appropriate territories
Work closely with Product Managers and Marketing to ensure proper pricing, sales & marketing support.
Assist with regional support of national accounts – both foodservice and retail – as needed.
