The overall purpose of a Maintenance Supervisor Team Lead is to oversee the day-to-day supervision of maintenance associates and provide leadership and management in the work environment. The Maintenance Supervisor Team Lead will employ the Team Management
Concept within the 2nd Processing Maintenance Department to meet production requirements and exceed company goals, and provide training to lower level maintenance associates, to assist and develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE; preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
Supervise and manage general associates including hiring, training, and developing associates to ensure production requirements and goals are met at least cost.
Provide timely, accurate, and consistent reports (safety, production, cost, human resources, administrative, etc.) for your area of responsibility.
Provide a safe work environment for all associates eliminating unsafe acts or conditions.
Ensure the Quality Improvement Process and Team Management concept are employed within your area of responsibility.
Control cost and assets managed within established guidelines.
Install new equipment while maintaining quality and ensuring associate and plant safety.
At least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Strong work history, worked for one employer for at least 1 year in the past three years.
High School Graduate or Equivalent with good reading, writing, math, and analytical skills is required.
A minimum of 5 years prior and related maintenance work experience is required to be considered for this position.
Previous maintenance experience in manufacturing, production, especially food production experience is a plus.
Willing and able to work in wet and extreme cold and hot conditions.
Willing and able to work around dust, feathers, animals, and various cleaning chemicals.
Excellent work history, worked for one employer for more than 1 year in the past three years.
