Description/Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk 3 will be responsible for interfacing with the local production and purchasing teams to ensure timely and accurate daily reporting.  This individual will be the primary backup for the other Accounting Clerks as needed.

Responsibilities/Duties

  1. Compile and publish Daily Production Reports
  2. Update and publish various reports - daily, weekly and monthly (giveaway, downtime, trend
  3. Enter billing in SAP for associate chicken sales.
  4. Assist with yearly audit of plant inventory (raw material, ingredient, and packaging.
  5. Assist with Weekly Estimates.
  6. Assist Accounting MAnager with monthly analysis and reconciliations.
  7. Backup of other accounting positions as needed and other duties as requested by management.
     

Required Experience

High School Diploma plus 2-3 years of relevant work experience is required.  Must have strong reading, writing, mathematical and analytical skills. Must be able to work independently and meet required deadlines.  Must have strong computer and calculator skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business is highly preferred.
